After an invitation by West End star Peter Straker (Hair, Rocky Horror Show, Blues in the Night, Rat Pack, and collaborations with Freddie Mercury), Gulliver joined his three-piece band as the pianist for his show Peter Straker’s Brel, together with guitarist Mike Allison (Bruce Welch, Cliff Richard, Olivia Newton John) and Scottish double-bass Conrad Molleson. Their performances include The Alley Cat Club in Soho, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Brighton Festival Fringe, Leicester Square Theatre, the London Film Museum and the St. James Theatre in Westminster.

Gulliver also performs the songs of Noel Coward, Cole Porter, Tom Lehrer and Ivor Novello. His double-acts with baritone Colin Baldy (Noel Coward at the Cafe de Paris, and Mrs Worthington and Friends) have taken him to the Aldeburgh Festival, the Enigma Ball at Bletchley Park, Croydon’s Fairfield Halls, the Mananan International Festival, The Theatre Royal Margate, Westminster Abbey, and Windsor Castle. The two also performed most of the works of Noel Coward whilst sailing from Madeira to Mumbai via the Suez Canal. With Bayreuth prize-winning mezzo-soprano Fiona MacDonald, he is a regular guest at the New Year's Eve celebrations in Egypt and has performed for the American Consulate in Edinburgh.
